As a documentary photographer, I believe my role is to be open, curious, fully present, patient, and largely invisible. I study people – the way they interact with each other within their natural environment – and I wait for visual narratives and unedited human emotion to unfold. I seek to uncover moments that express our shared humanity, and to connect and build common ground among diverse people divided by cultural, socio-economic and geographic boundaries.
