Untitled Space

The muscles in my face ached from squinting my left eye and I had convinced myself that I was done making images for the day. But as we finished up the tour of the nursery school classes and stepped across the narrow stretch of pavement toward the front door to Mama Lucy's home, I felt a rush for this space. I don't know how to describe this feeling I get when I stumble into a space like this, but it brings me a sense of peace. It has something to do with the way lines connect and collide, and the fact that it requires no thought to consume. It was hard to walk away.

Could it be that it was Mama Lucy's?
