I have a love/hate relationship with football season. My brother is a high school head football coach, so I love following his team, watching him in action and hearing his stories. My farmer is a huge Georgia fan. And yes, I love the Bulldogs too, but I must admit I am often distracted during the four-five hour game-day experience between the hedges. But last weekend was different. We didn't sit in our typical seats. Down in row 6 on the 50-yard line, I could actually see the players' expressions and watch them interact with each other on the sidelines. Catching a glimpse of the boys' spirit powering the plays on the field really pulled me in. And little did I know that our quarterback, Matthew Stafford, was so darn cute.

Georgia fans (and a few photographers) welcome our new mascot, UGA VII. College football season has officially begun.
